Race 3, Middle East 09/10 Championship (21 Nov 09)
I would like to thank Westminster Gulf for their support of the series and I am also happy to announce that GAC have also come onboard and will be providing all the refreshments at the race finishes and will also be covering our end of season social function at the conclusion of the series.
I would also like to pass on my thanks Ronan for allowing us to finish the race at the Mina Seyahi.
This Saturdays race will start from the free beach to the left of the Jebel Ali Resort and finish at the Mina Seyahi. The distance is approx 20km and we have favourable winds predicted. There will be a Google Earth image of the course in the photo gallery.
The DSKC trailer will be available for the transport of ski`s from DSKC. It will be on a first in best dressed basis. The trailer will be available for loading from Friday afternoon and all ski`s must be loaded by 1200 on Saturday at the latest.
I have attached a form which can be downloaded, and there will be more copies available at the race start. This form is for the support crews to show to the security guards at the Mina Seyahi to gain access if you are a non member.
Whilst the course is not the same route we will be using for the Shamaal, it will give everyone a good idea of what to expect from the Shamaal.
